The trade abilities make a big difference. My recollection was that, once you gain fiefs trading became impractical, so it was really best part of a "early to mid-game neutral player" strategy. Any ideas?Īssuming it is not a lot different in Warband, the way trading was setup in MB: it was best to treat trading as a parallel strategy to looter-interdiction, and other forms of fighting. I've killed roughly fifty deserters around the town in question but apparently none of them are the right ones. The problem is this, no one I ask has heard of them. He said that the leader was famous and to ask other travellers about them for clues.

I've taken a mission from a Guildmaster to kill some Deserters who attacked some traders and now have a bounty on their heads. I don't want my hand held but some pointers would be welcome.Īlso, to avoid making another post for a quick question. So are there any regular trade routes or goods that always make a profit? Any expert traders out there who want to share their knowledge. I love trading in games like X3 but in Warband it just doesn't seem like a viable option. I know about asking the Guildmaster, but going to a town to find out what goods they want and trawling around lots of other towns to find one that sells that good at a reasonable price seems way too tedious.

Does anyone have any good tips for succesful trading in Warband.
